#3 "The Yellow "Cub" Marine"

The Art
Subliminal, subconcious, subjective and more
The submarine project thrust open a door
from which came the choices - some good and some poor,
but not even one was right to the core.

Searching for inspiration the bearmaker dreams
of "English Invasion" and "Yellow Submarines."
Lulled by the lapping of waves and moonbeams
The answer emerges, so obvious it seems
To meld the familiar with word play and glean
A Troop of Yellow Bear Cubs all dressed as Marines!

With this inspiration, the long journey began
Creating a sub to be admired by fans
And to be placed on display was true to the plan

It's a Simon Lake tribute by none other than
Admiral Bear Chum himself and the whole Bear Club clan.
