The Milford Fine Arts Council
presents

"Submarines on Parade"

July - October 2000

"In an effort to promote the arts and tourism and to raise funds for local charities, the Milford Fine Arts Council has launched Submarines on Parade, an exhibit of artistically designed fiberglass submarines. Each 5 1/2' by 2 1/2' sub will be sponsored by local businesses and will be creatively designed by regional artists. Milford residents and visitors will be able to cast their ballots fo a People's Choice Award winner from the fleet. After a brief but exciting summer season, the subs will be auctioned off in October with all proceeds going to various non-profit agencies throughout the city."

'Locations' listed below are 'current'. After the auction in October 2000 the hope is that many sculptures will be displayed outdoors for public viewing. New locations will be updated.

Update: All sculptures are moved down to the Milford Landing Marina, 37 Helwig St.

Update: The auction is over. All sculptures are moved to new locations, some publically viewable, those sites will be listed as they become available.
