A Cry For Help - Paul Perrotti
The Art - I immediately envisioned an opportunity to create,
not just a work of art, but a message. Although critics may call A Cry for Help obscene, I intended to make a strong statement about the treatment of our Mother Ocean. I chose to use the submarine as a negative symbol, one that represents an irresponsible society. The boat's filthy, riveted mass is impaling our great source of life, It is evident that our Mother Ocean is giving birth to a child that continually maims her. - Paul Perrotti
The Artist - An architechtural designer for a New Canaan, CT
firm, Paul studied art at Southern CT State University and earned a B.S. Ed. in technology education from Central CT State University. Considered more of a 'practical' artist for a wide use of materials in his work, Paul is currently illustrating and writing a children's book.
