Yes, this 'thing' is about 7 feet high, and 18 feet across at the base This pic was taken in April before the foliage started budding. When in full foliage I called it The Green Blob. As a plant it's not particularly unattractive. As a matter of fact before I -explained- things to the building residents a few were actually quite annoyed because they did enjoy the white flowers later in spring. They were also concerned that I was destroying a valuable bird nesting site, but in fact no birds nest here. One pair of mockingbirds did set up residence for a short while but it really was too close to the ground and quite vulnerable to predators such as raccoons and they soon built a new nest elsewhere and moved their eggs.
